The Village of Virgil’s refuse pick-up day will be changing from Thursday, to Wednesday starting the week of June 2nd. Please see the proposed timeline below for our roll-out plan:

• · Post card mailer notice should be arriving in mail boxes the week of May 12th, or May 19th depending on the post office.
• · Cart hangers informing the customer of the change in date placed on refuse carts Thursday, May 29th during pick-up.
• · First day of new Wednesday pick-up will be Wednesday, June 4th.

This is the tentative schedule dependent on the mailers going out in the mail on-time.

If you are concerned about the garbage along Rt. 64, let Representative Jeff Keicher know!  Representative Keicher is working on new legislation to hold the garbage haulers accountable for all the refuse that falls/blows out of their trucks and collects against the Great Western Trail.  It is disgusting and the garbage haulers need to be held accountable.
